We’re the Dunne family, and we’re proud to welcome you to Sleningford Watermill, our independent caravan and camping park beside the River Ure in North Yorkshire. Our family has been greeting guests here since 1973, sharing this beautiful 20-acre riverside setting with those who love the outdoors as much as we do.

Over the years, we’ve seen families, couples, walkers, cyclists, canoeists and anglers make memories here — and many now return year after year. Whether you’re here to explore the Yorkshire Dales, visit the North York Moors, or simply relax by the river, Sleningford offers the space, peace, and connection that only nature can provide.

Today, we’re proud to continue that tradition — caring for the land, the wildlife, and the people who visit. Our park has been recognised with the Blooming Marvellous Challenge, Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence, and a Four Pennant AA rating, but what matters most to us is the sense of community that’s grown here over the decades.
