Terms & Conditions for Sleningford 🌿
Touring Guest Terms & Conditions
These conditions apply to anyone fishing at Sleningford Watermill Caravan & Camping Park and are in addition to the general Park Terms & Conditions.
Access
- Fishing beat runs from the main gates to Mole End.
- No access to the opposite riverbank — this is private land.
- Access may be restricted due to weather, visitor numbers or season.
- Access in closed season by pre appointment only.
Booking & Payment
- Groups of 3+ fishers must book in advance.
- Bookings may be refused or cancelled; notice will be given where possible.
- No charge for cancellations, but please inform us if you won’t attend.
- At least one person must be 18+; under-18s must be supervised.
- Payment taken on the day (cash or card).
- Honesty box available in winter when site is unmanned.
Safety & Liability
- Fishers enter the river and millrace at their own risk.
- You must conduct your own risk assessment and judge safety on the day.
- Site may be unstaffed in winter.
- Vehicles and belongings left at owners’ risk.
Fishing Rules
- Fly-fishing only – coarse fishing is prohibited.
- Valid Environment Agency rod licence must be shown at reception.
- Trout/Grayling: 3-trout catch limit; follow local byelaws.
- Salmon: must all be returned; follow local salmon byelaws.
Facilities
- Closed season: courtyard facilities available for changing if pre booked.
Open season (1 Apr–31 Oct): pyramid ( limited opening in low season) and courtyard blocks
